Challis Real Estate Company has full-time leasing agents who work with potential tenants to find a property that meets their individual needs. They are available to show properties to prospective tenants Monday through Saturday by calling our office or sending an e-mail through our website to make an appointment. Our leasing agents will work with tenants from the initial showing through the move in process to make sure everyone understands the rules and regulations of each property as well as ensure everything is in good working condition at the time tenants move in.
Challis Real Estate Company has a full maintenance staff available as well an extensive network of qualified vendors to ensure any issues that arise are properly completed. We also have regular office hours Monday through Friday to answer any tenant questions or concerns, and provides tenant with 24-hour access to an emergency contact number to handle any maintenance related emergencies that may occur on nights and weekends.

Application Fee Agreement & Guidelines: Please complete the entire online application and pay online or you can contact our office to arrange to pay the $40.00 application fee (cash, check, cashiers check or money order preferred) for each adult applicant. Once an application is approved, we require the immediate payment of the deposit to guarantee and hold the unit. If Payment is not received within 24 hours, we will continue to market the home for rent.
We process each application as rapidly as possible. Items that may delay the process are: Incomplete applications. Inability to contact previous landlords, or slow response from prior landlords. If we are unable to verify information on an application, the application will be denied.
We will not review incomplete applications. If pets are accepted there will be an increased security deposit; a copy of the latest vaccination record will be required at time of signing the rental agreement. Depending on breed, in some locations, your application may be denied.
Applicants must show 2 pieces of identification; 1 must include a photo and both must be current.
Rental history of 2 years must be verifiable from unbiased/unrelated sources. Applicants must provide us with the information necessary to contact past landlords. We reserve the right to deny an application if, after making a good faith effort, we are unable to verify prior rental history.
Net household income shall be at least 2.5 times the rent. Income/resources must be verifiable through pay stubs, current tax records and/or bank statements, etc. We do not accept co-signers
Negative credit reports may result in denial of application. Any individual who is a current illegal substance abuser, or has been convicted of the illegal manufacture or distribution of a controlled substance or any other felony may be denied tenancy.
